This bat mitzvah took place in October, during the Jewish holiday Sukkot or Succos. During this holidayiIt is customary to build a sukkah - a temporary house. At Temple Emanu-el, located on Fifth Avenue a floral representation studded with pumpkins at the base, is constructed inside the main sanctuary. It became the perfect backround for family formals.
