Gorgeous bat mitzvah portrait taken at Prince George Ballroom. Unplanned portraits, in other words working with what is available in the moment: the wardrobing, event decor and lighting, is one of my greatest strengths.

Each party is unique. And my role is to include all of these unique elements you have brought together at this moment, in the portraits, as much as possible. In Manhattan, bat mitzvah style is fabulous. These portrait sessions, after the service, and before the party, are fashion shoots on a fast timeline! Look at how her ivory bat mitzvah dress pops out from the surrounding gold, she stands out like a jewel. And, her metallic shoes, likely her mother’s, matching the retro go-cart and gold column wonderfully.
