de Seversky Mansion is located on the North Shore of Long Island, in Glen Head, tucked away inside the campus of NYIT. The event space is an old world, Gold Coast mansion, typical of the era when it was built. The rooms are elegant, with high ceilings, moldings, chandeliers, wood panelling, and views of manicured greenery. At every turn I see a beautiful backdrop for a photo. The bat mitzvah's I have photographed at de Seversky were big, fun parties, with activities in every room. If your group fit, the garden room is romantic for a twilight havdallah service. And afterward, the kids and grown ups can party in totally separate areas if that is what you are looking for.
