They flew in for the weekend from Toronto. \u00a0She thought… to do a Meatpacking District food tour. He thought… I want to surprise her with an engagement ring in Central Park…. He wanted privacy. Not easy on a perfect weekend afternoon in Central Park. \u00a0Hmmmmm…..We went up to the Conservatory Garden and I saved a secluded bench for them. The problem was I was there! And the bride-to-be spotted me immediately. The groom-to-be sprang into action right away not giving her a chance to protest and “change spots.” \u00a0He hid the jewel box in a bag of \u00a0Ghirardelli Squares. And she had no idea! He pulled it off….Congratulations and best wishes to Kayan and Doug. The world is your oyster.<\/p>\n
