Candid portraits provide unconventional results. This moment was captured during the actual bar mitzvah service. After reading from the Torah, the bar mitzvah boy looked up and found his parents in the audience. I am sure they know this look. It confirms the old adage, "a picture is worth a thousand words." At the same moment, my second photographer captured the father giving his son a thumbs up!
