A client with family ties to the brooke Jackman Foundation asked if I would be interested in donating to their Fall silent auction charity event. On October 27, 2011, the Brooke Jackman Foundation held its 10th annual silent & live auction cocktail reception at the New York Palace Hotel.  The organization, named after a young professional woman who was lost on 9/11, is focused on improving literacy among at-risk children in the New York area. I offered a photo shoot for a young child and a finished fine art wall canvas. This was my set-up.

Shown are a few inside pages and the cover of the custom photo album we made. The party was held at the peak of the Fall foliage season and we brought together all of the elements by choosing a rusty cinnamon silk for the cover material.

This is Talia again. She just started to stand. And has her first 2 teeth. So cute. We have an ongoing relationship. That is her mom and dad, in the flash header up at the top, on their wedding day reclining in the grass. And here is the custom birth announcement we did for her last Summer. Collage panels are designed to blend in with today’s clean interior design elements, and are a perfect format to connect with and preserve life’s precious memories.
