DUMBO

I just spent 4 days in DUMBO - down under the Manhattan Bridge overpass - attending NYPH08 - The New York Photo Festival, a contemporary photography festival. It was non stop artist presentations and gallery exhibitions on the bleeding edge of photography. It was very energizing. I’m looking forward to next year - a ten day festival is planned. I haven’t visited that neighborhood since the 70’s when I was a college student at SVA. I forgot the sensations: From where ever you are standing in DUMBO you can see a bridge.

House: No, I am nicer!
Brick: Bricks are always nicer than houses because,

Happy 5th Anniversary, My First Post

Its been 5 years! Tomorrow, May 12, marks five years as Ellen Wolff Photography. Photographing birthday parties, weddings, Bat Mitzvah’s, Bar Mitzvah’s, wedding anniversaries, sweet sixteens, law school graduations, love and life! I thought a visit into the Time Machine would be a fun and happy way to honor my anniversary. So here we go, a quick trip spanning the past 5 years, celebrating birthdays from one to 80!
